Overview:
The Master of Laws (LL.M.) is a two-year postgraduate degree programme designed to equip law graduates with in-depth legal knowledge, critical thinking skills, and advanced research capabilities. The LL.M. programme at DPG Law College is aimed at fostering academic excellence and practical understanding of specialized areas of law. It enables students to develop scholarly expertise and prepares them for roles in academics, judiciary, litigation, corporate legal services, and public policy.
The programme is delivered through a combination of lectures, seminars, moot courts, research projects, and internships. Emphasis is laid on developing analytical reasoning, legal writing, and interpretative skills. The curriculum aligns with UGC and MDU norms and is regularly updated to meet emerging legal challenges and professional requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must have completed LL.B. (Professional) or an equivalent three-year or five-year law degree from a recognized university.
- The minimum qualifying marks are 50% in aggregate.
- The degree must be recognized by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak or deemed equivalent thereto.
